Prior to starting Stadnick Nowierski-Stadnick LLP, Lauren spent over a decade counseling clients and litigating complex civil disputes. Lauren’s practice includes vast experience in all aspects of civil litigation: from pre-suit investigations through trial in federal and state courts. Her investigative skills have contributed to over $100M of pre-trial settlements in numerous matters.
Ms. Nowierski-Stadnick graduated from MIT in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2009 with a Juris Doctor. At MIT, she played in three intercollegiate sports (ice hockey, field hockey, and lacrosse), which she credits for imparting discipline, team skills, and a competitive nature.
At law school, Lauren was an Alexander Fellow, which provided her with a full-time student clerkship working for the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She served as the Executive Editor for the Arts & Entertainment Law Journal and the president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. At graduation, Lauren was awarded the Jacob Burns Medal for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School.
Lauren practiced at Goodwin Procter LLP and Desmarais LLP in New York City prior to relocating to Bend.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys hiking, biking, nordic skiing, photography, and camping. She lives with her husband and dogs in Bend.
